A vintage , probably antique Royal Crown Derby cup and saucer. The cup is smaller than average teacup but not tiny. I'm not sure if is A small teacup or coffee cup but I guess it would work for both.
Backstamped as shown in the pictures. " Royal Crown Derby, England, 2541." I think the symbol under the cup marks dates it to 1898 but I'm not 100 % sure about this. A different date mark under the saucer. Please see pictures.
The cup is approx 5 cm high and approx 8.2 cm wide at the top not including the handle.
The saucers is approx 14 cm wide.
In vintage condition as described at the top of the listing .
International shipping costs for this one will be £7 to Europe and £11 to the rest of the world.
Most of the shipping cost on this one is for the weight of the packing. I can combine shipping on this one for free if you are buying any of my other items to send with it.
Please see my other vintage and antique china items. I CAN COMBINE POSTAGE TO THE UK ON UP TO 3 CHINA AUCTIONS FOR ONLY ONE POSTAGE CHARGE OF £2.80..
If you are planning to buy more from my listings it's best to pay for them together IN LOTS OF THREE so I don't send them too soon.
Combined shipping OVERSEAS will be more difficult . I can only combine up to 3 auctions in one box because I have to keep the weight under 2 kg.
International combined shipping cost will be ,
EUROPE, £8 for one, £10 for two and £12 for three china auctions.
REST OF THE WORLD, £12 for one, £18 for two and £20 for three.
THE EBAY COMBINED POSTAGE AUTOMATIC CALCULATOR WILL PROBABLY BE WRONG. I CAN'T USE IT BECAUSE THE COST FOR EACH EXTRA ITEM SOMETIMES VARIES . PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INVOICE BEFORE PAYING SO I CAN MAKE SURE I GET IT RIGHT. I USUALLY SEND THE INVOICES AT THE END OF THE NIGHTS BIDDING. IF I'M TOO SLOW PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL SEND IT FASTER.
Vintage condition is not an excuse for worn out. It just means it's been used. I'm very careful with my listings and always try to mention any wear or crazing in the description at the top. No stock pictures. The item in the pictures is the one you will receive.
DELIVERY TIME, I put in my listings that the dispatch time is within 4 working days of payment. I try to beat this and will never be slower. I give myself 4 working days just in case it does take me that long . I work alone and it's very time consuming to do it right. I don't trust anyone else to pack them properly as I want to make sure you get them in one piece. I wash and carefully check each item before listing and take new pictures each time. I also need time to find them so can't always post next day. I try to save money on postage by sending second class as the postage is expensive enough already. Sorry to preach but just one or two people seem to think I'm slow posting my items. I and most other people don't think I am but I'm writing this just to clarify . Please check the estimated delivery time and if it is not fast enough please let me know before paying and I will upgrade the postage to first class at cost and pack it at midnight . As I say I aim to beat the estimated time anyway so hopefully it's not a problem.
I always pack very well and only ever charge what it costs me to send , usually less. I believe that 99% of all pottery that gets broken in the post is due to bad packing . If you love pottery as much as I do I hope you understand that a little extra packing is worthwhile to make sure it's safe. I will never expect the buyer to be responsible for breakages because if it gets broken it's not packed properly.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY IMPORT DUTY OR CUSTOMS CHARGES BY YOUR COUNTRY ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.
